Basically, I want a basic git repo viewer. Currently, I don’t care about checking other branches, commits and stuff.

• [x] basics
  • [x] home page should display the list of all repos.
  • [x] I can click around the list of files. if i click a text file, it should display in a new window with syntax highlighting. if it’s a binary file, download it. (or maybe a funny thing - hex viewer?)
  • [x] when I click into a directory, there should be an arrow to go back to the outer directory and a home button to go to the main thing.
• [ ] live update to check for new repos (try listening through some OS mechanism, dont recheck every time?)
• [ ] start managing memory
• [ ] see repository description (.git/description); format it too and make it visible in /
• [ ] see which commit it is + commit message
• [ ] see last change in a file
  • i’m not sure if I want to see commit message near a file? maybe make it only a tooltip hint or something?

design ideas?

• [ ] when I click a repo, I should see the README.md first and below it a list of all files (or just this if it lacks a readme).
  • [ ] i should probably partially hide the readme? maybe I should strategically split the README?
• [ ] syntax highlighting
• [ ] nicely style it.
